The breakfast table is set for 17. I'm really hoping that everyone is going to be easy to get on with! And that they don't mind people (well, me ) who want to take photos all the time!
The majority of the group arrived from Heathrow late last night after travelling for 24 hours. Our detour via Amsterdam doesn't seem so bad after all.
We pick up our bikes and check that they are adjusted OK.
Soon we are wandering through the picturesque lanes of Granada. There are 4 guides on the trip and they take it in turns to block the traffic at junctions! I really like this feature!
We take a break at Lake Nicaragua and it's not just me that wants a group photo, just about everyone does! Marvellous, I'm going to get on with these people!
It doesn't feel like we have done much cycling when we stop at a bar.
We order our lunch, then head out on a boat trip whilst lunch is being cooked
I am very happy with my seafood spaghetti!
After lunch, it's just a 15 minute bike ride back to the hotel!
Stuart and I decline the trip to the souvenir market in favour of lounging by the pool.
We've done a grand total of 12.27 miles today!
I suspect things are going to get a little tougher tomorrow!
