CB2 - I'm not one to complain, but...

We have the morning in Tallin, but this really isn't enough to do it justice.  We route march our way around the old town, but don't even stop for a coffee to watch the world go by,  I feel we have unfinished business in Tallin.

In the afternoon we meet our bicycles.  I'd like to think that my blog is generally a positive one.  However, I cannot in any way find a single nice thing to say about my bicycle.

It is a ridiculously heavy shopper bike.  It should only be used for very short journeys around town, and I am going to have to cycle 30 - 60 km a day on it.

I realised very quickly how much I hated the bike, because although I was cycling on a smooth flat road with a tail wind I wasn't actually enjoying the ride.  This is unheard of, I love cycling.

Fortunately, the rest of the group seem very nice, and while a couple cycle off the front, a couple are riding at the rear, I am in the peloton of about 12 riders in the middle.  This is despite a lead bicycle.  I dread to think how I would have managed if I hadn't done all the extra training this summer.

We only cycle 22 miles today (just as well, bike from hell). But fortunately end up staying in a delightful old distillery in a national park.
